From June 30 to July 2, 2017, the first Guangxi animal husbandry exposition and Guangxi fishery exposition with the theme of "ecological breeding and green development" were held in Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The first Expo showcased 313 enterprises, including national advanced breeding equipment, feed, veterinary medicine, animal protection and other breeding products, 63 industry leading enterprises in Guangxi, 33 county (city, district) governments or aquatic animal husbandry bureaus, famous and special fishing and animal husbandry enterprises, cooperatives, industry service (finance, e-commerce) enterprises, etc. it was the first exhibition area in Guangxi in history The animal husbandry industry exhibition with an area of 10000 square meters has attracted wide attention and strong repercussions in Guangxi industry.

During the three days of the first Expo, 31632 visitors were received, including 19176 industry merchants, including industry distributors and purchasers, directors of breeding, poultry and animal husbandry processing enterprises and other professional visitors. Guangxi aquatic animal husbandry leading enterprise promotion association is the leading enterprise organization of Guangxi aquatic animal husbandry industry.
