From January 1st to January 5th, at the 9th Bonsai Exhibition in Luqiao District, 115 artworks from Luqiao Bonsai enthusiasts competed with each other in their unique poses.

"I happened to drive by and accidentally saw the lush bonsai, and my eyes couldn't even move." Mr. Zhang, a citizen, was one of the first viewers. At the entrance of the exhibition, he couldn't help but admire a potted landscape with curved and tangled branches, vibrant and colorful, and adorned with golden fruits.

According to Guan Yinhai, the president of the Luqiao District Bonsai Association, this bonsai is called "Golden Bean" and is a national second-class protected plant. It does not wither in winter and has lush branches and leaves. Its owner has cultivated it for more than 20 years, and its design is very outstanding.

In the previous stage, after the association issued a notice to organize a bonsai exhibition, bonsai enthusiasts signed up with their favorite works, mainly pine, cypress, and plum blossom bonsai, with many carefully crafted old stakes that have gone through decades.

The small bonsai not only embodies the beautiful scenery of nature, but also reflects the high production skills of local bonsai through various processes such as cutting and seedling cultivation, wire bending, twisted branch composition, and shaping and finishing.

The bonsai exhibition also attracted a group of industry experts from various regions. Wang Aimin, Honorary President of the Zhejiang Bonsai Art Branch, Tang Yuli, President of the Bonsai Branch of the Zhejiang Society of Landscape Architecture, and Xia Guoyu, an international bonsai master, all praised this art festival that showcases the charm of bonsai. "Road and bridge bonsai enthusiasts are very enthusiastic. Pine and cypress bonsai have a majestic and excellent atmosphere. Holding exhibitions not only improves the level of craftsmen through communication, but also enriches people's lives and drives the development of the bonsai industry."

As the venue provider for this bonsai exhibition, Chen Wenjun, the owner of Liangyuan Garden in Taizhou and the vice president of the China Bonsai Artists Association, is also a "big shot" in the industry. She loves bonsai art and was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award" at the 12th Plum Blossom and Plum Blossom Exhibition in China.

"In fact, there are many bonsai enthusiasts on Road and Bridge, and they can only place their works in the yard or in front and behind the house, lacking opportunities to communicate and interact with the outside world. I provide a venue for everyone to appreciate the poetic and picturesque scenery in bonsai together." Chen Wenjun said.
