Karachi Asia maritime and seaside exhibition in Pakistan is expected to become the smallest and most promising International Maritime Exhibition in South Asia. The exhibition will be held in Karachi Exhibition Center in Pakistan from March 5 to 7. The exhibition area is 15000 square meters, and the number of exhibitors is expected to be 350, mainly including three international pavilions, with an estimated audience of 35000. The exhibition features the most cutting-edge technology and equipment, providing face-to-face communication and cooperation opportunities for exhibitors, purchasers and visitors from all over the world. At present, facing the challenges and opportunities of shipbuilding industry, it is very important to participate in international exhibitions and strengthen industry ties in order to win new business and achieve results in the global shipbuilding market. Under the initiative of "one belt and one road", the Karachi maritime and seaside exhibition was specially supported by the government of Pakistan, the Ministry of national planning, development and reform, the State Investment Bureau and the Trade Development Council.
On October 24, 2018, Ambassador Yao Jing met with Pakistan's new minister of maritime affairs Zaidi and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of maritime affairs Khwaja. Yao Jing said that the development of marine resources and port operation and construction are important areas of cooperation between China and Pakistan. As a leading project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, it is hoped that the Pakistani government will continue to vigorously support the construction of the port of melon. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan in the areas of marine resources exploration, coastal economic development, aquaculture and other fields. Maritime minister Zaidi said the development and construction of the port of melon is of great significance to Pakistan. The government of Pakistan actively supports the commercial cooperation between the port of melon, attracts foreign investment and increases the flow of goods. Pakistan welcomes China's participation in the economic development of the blue sea.

Market introduction
Pakistan is located in South Asia, with a coastline of 1046km, the Arabian Sea and Gulf to the south, China to the northeast, India to the East, Afghanistan and Iran to the West. Because of its unique geographical location, Pakistan's port and aviation have become an important transportation hub, strengthening trade exchanges with neighboring countries. Pakistan has three main deep-water ports. At present, all international trade is carried out through these three ports, namely Gwadar Port, Karachi Port and Qasim port. Gwadar Port is a coastal city of the Arabian Sea in Balochistan province in the west, 533 km from arachi and 120 km from the Iranian border. Gwadar Port is located at the mouth of the Persian Gulf, with a coastline of about 300 kilometers. As the leading project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Gwadar Port has opened regular freight liner under the operation of Chinese enterprises, attracting a number of enterprises to invest and set up factories freely. The port will become the smallest promising international trade port.
