1、 Exhibition Introduction

In 2024, the country issued the first specialized document to support the development of the silver economy, titled "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Developing the Silver Economy and Enhancing the Welfare of the Elderly". At the Third Plenum of the 20th Central Committee, it was pointed out to develop the silver economy, optimize the supply of basic elderly care services, encourage and guide enterprises and other social forces to actively participate, promote mutual assistance elderly care services, and promote the integration of medical care and elderly care. The effective market for the silver economy is accelerating its formation, and favorable conditions for expansion and quality improvement are constantly increasing.

Since its establishment in 2016, the China Shandong (Qingdao) International Health and Wellness Industry Expo has been successfully held for nine sessions, receiving nearly 2300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions and serving over 140000 visitors. The 9th Expo was successfully held from June 27th to 29th, 2024, under the guidance of relevant departments and the support of enterprises. The exhibition was rich, the forum was professional, and the activities were exciting. The overall satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors exceeded 90%. Successfully created an important platform for communication, cooperation, and resource integration in the health and wellness industry, injecting vitality into the investment promotion work in Shandong Province.

In order to implement the spirit of central documents, tap into the new quality productivity of the silver economy, and promote the high-quality development of the health and wellness industry, the 10th China Shandong (Qingdao) International Health and Wellness Industry Expo will be held from July 10 to 12, 2025 at the Qingdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Expo aims to "welcome the new era of silver economy development", with a planned exhibition area of over 20000 square meters, gathering 500 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises, showcasing nearly 10000 cutting-edge products and services such as smart information health care, rehabilitation nursing, barrier free facilities, aging friendly, elderly care services, traditional Chinese medicine health care, etc. At the same time, more than 10 themed conferences were held, bringing together leading domestic and foreign enterprises and the latest products, technologies, and services.
