1. Japan is a large market for China's bicycle exports and one of the major exporters and consumers of bicycles in the world.

In Japan, the annual demand for bicycles is about 8 - 9 million. Due to the impact of Chinese Mainland and Taiwan's bicycles (mainly price impact), more than half of Japan's bicycle demand is dependent on imports. Its domestic bicycle production is shrinking year by year, and the import volume is increasing year by year. It is understood that five years ago, Japan mainly imported bicycles from Taiwan, which accounted for about 90% of the total imports.
