On the morning of January 25th, the West Coast New Area held a press conference on the 2024 key exhibition activities and the "West Coast 100 · 2024 Leisure Travel Season". At the meeting, Cui Xijun, Director of the Exhibition Industry Development Promotion Center in the West Coast New Area, introduced that in 2024, the new area has carefully planned to hold more than 400 various activities such as festivals, conferences, exhibitions, and competitions throughout the year, including more than 100 key activities, including 31 festival activities, 29 exhibition activities, 14 event activities, and 28 conference forum activities.

Among them, 31 festive activities cover cultural tourism, specialty cuisine, art exhibitions, and other fields, which are a comprehensive reflection of the history, economy, and cultural atmosphere of the new area. The upcoming Spring Festival Lantern Festival will showcase the unique charm of ecology, culture, and the integration of light and shadow, making it a great place for cultural leisure at night; The Rhododendron Festival showcases tens of thousands of acres of rhododendrons blooming and showcasing their beauty. The Qingdao International Beer Festival is one of the four famous beer festivals in the world. The 34th Qingdao International Beer Festival will highlight international elements, Chinese style, urban characteristics, and market orientation, gather global resources, recruit partners from nine major sectors including beer brands, specialty cuisine, cultural performances, fashion events, and IP cooperation, continue to amplify the commercial effects of industrial clusters, brand clusters, and cultural clusters, create the largest outdoor festival in Asia, and enhance the platform and link role of Qingdao International Beer Festival as a city IP.
