The printing types involved in various fields such as publication printing, packaging printing, anti-counterfeiting printing, digital printing, etc. There are 25 printing enterprises with an annual industrial output value of more than 100 million yuan, and 45 enterprises with an annual output value of more than 50 million yuan. At the same time, Hunan's cultural industry has a solid foundation, "publishing Hunan army", "broadcasting Hunan army" and "newspaper Hunan army" have laid a solid foundation for Hunan's printing and packaging industry, and a number of leading enterprises such as "Hunan Tianwen", "Changsha Hongfa", "Hunan Pentium", "Changde Jinpeng" and "Hunan jinshali" have emerged. At the same time, the printing industry development of Hubei, Henan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shanxi and other central provinces and cities adjacent to Hunan should not be underestimated.

 

Hunan is located in the central region, bordering Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hubei, Guizhou and other provinces, the printing industry in these provinces is very strong. According to the official authoritative statistics, by the end of 2016, there were more than 19700 printing enterprises in Guangdong Province, with 769800 employees and 680 printing enterprises with an annual total processing value of more than 50 million yuan. In 2016, the total industrial output value of printing enterprises in Guangdong Province reached 210 billion yuan. By the end of 2016, there were 1583 printing and brushing enterprises in Guangxi, with 39700 employees in the province, 47 printing enterprises with an annual total processing value of more than 50 million yuan, and the total output value of Guangxi printing industry (including the total output value of "three printing" enterprises) in 2016 was 14.125 billion yuan. By the end of 2017, there were 1789 printing enterprises (excluding copying and printing enterprises) in Jiangxi Province, with about 82000 employees, a registered capital of 2.7 billion yuan and a total industrial output value of nearly 31 billion yuan.

As the core city of the central economic corridor, Changsha is not only the transitional zone between the eastern coastal areas and the central and western regions, but also the junction of the Yangtze River open economic zone and the coastal open economic zone, and the transportation hub connecting the Yangtze River Delta region and the Pan Pearl River Delta region.
