China (Shanghai) International spectacles exhibition was first held in 2001 and is held in February and March every year. The predecessor of this exhibition is the national order meeting of the optical industry, which is held in different cities of China every spring, while the International China International optical industry exhibition is regularly held in Beijing every autumn and September. China is the world's largest single glasses market, and the GDP continues to grow every year. People are getting richer and richer, and there is a strong demand for new time glasses. In order to meet the needs of the market and obtain the approval of the relevant government departments, the organizers have changed the spring national exhibition into an international exhibition since 2001, so that overseas companies can participate in the exhibition, display international famous products, and let more overseas buyers come to visit and trade. Shanghai is an international metropolis and China's economic center. It is also the venue of the first international spectacles exhibition. Therefore, it has become the site of the Spring International spectacles exhibition. After the reform, the China (Shanghai) International spectacles exhibition was an unprecedented success, with the exhibition area increasing from 8000 square meters in 2001 to more than 80000 square meters in 2016. The scale of the exhibition has been expanding continuously. In the past 17 years, the scale of Shanghai exhibition has increased more than ten times, and its development potential is amazing.
