Mexico City International Textile Exhibition is the only local textile industry exhibition. The exhibition is held once a year, sponsored by Mexico exhibition group, and has been successfully held for three times. With the international and domestic support, the exhibition is getting bigger and bigger, and its reputation is constantly improving. Now it has developed into a professional, free and only trade event in the textile and garment manufacturing industry in the region. The United States has signed the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the United States. According to the NAFTA regulations, the United States has lifted the quota restrictions on textiles and clothing imported from Mexico since January 1, 1994, and granted a series of tariff preferences. Meanwhile, Mexico, with a population of 1.4 billion, is an important way for enterprises to develop the South American market. Most South American countries such as Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia and other countries have signed "free trade agreements" with the United States, so the market of South American clothing fabrics and accessories is huge. This exhibition is an important channel to enter the South American market and expand the American market.
