The 8th China Museum and related products and Technology Expo (the 8th "Expo") will be held in Fuzhou International Channel Convention and Exhibition Center from November 23 to 26, 2018.

The theme of this Expo is "Museum: new era and new journey", jointly sponsored by China Museum Association, China Natural Science Museum Association and Fuzhou Municipal People's government.

The 8th Expo will be composed of four parts: museum display, cultural and Expo enterprise display, public service platform and public cultural interaction space. The main forum of the Expo, "the first global Museum Youth Forum", the 2018 annual Council of China Museum Association, the meetings of all professional committees of China Museum Association and other business exchanges and cultural activities will also be held at the same time.

Compared with previous sessions, the biggest highlight of this Expo is that the content of public participation has been greatly increased. In addition, the participation of international museums and related institutions has also been widely promoted. This Expo will truly become a Cultural Expo with high level of specialization, popularization and internationalization.

The exhibition area of the Expo is expected to exceed 50000 square meters.

The exhibition section of the museum consists of eight thematic exhibition areas, including "exhibition area of Museum scientific research achievements and cultural protection base", "comprehensive exhibition area of museum professional achievements", "exhibition area of International Museum and related institutions", "supply and demand exchange platform of cultural and Museum talents", "demonstration activity area of intangible cultural heritage projects", "cultural and museum industry special area of Fujian Province and Fuzhou City";

The exhibition plate of cultural and Museum enterprises consists of seven featured exhibition areas, including "Museum exhibition technology area", "Museum Cultural Protection and restoration technology area", "Museum digital, network, multimedia technology area", "Museum Cultural and creative product design area", "Museum animation industry area", "cultural and Museum publishing area", "national cultural relics store area".

The preliminary schedule of the Expo is as follows:

On the morning of November 23, the fair officially opened; on the morning of November 22, the Council meeting of China Museum Association was held; on the afternoon of November 23, the main forum of the fair, "the first global Museum Youth Forum" was held; on the afternoon of November 22, academic activities of all professional committees of the association were held. A series of cultural activities and public welfare exchange platforms will be opened to the public free of charge from November 23.
