A few years ago, "industry 4.0, Internet of things" were still at the stage of concept discussion, and now they have been put into production line for practical application, such as Bosch, Siemens, sap and a few large German enterprises. At present, there are more than one hundred overall solutions for various advanced industrial technologies, and more and more products and production methods that embody the technical characteristics of industry 4.0. We can see flexible production lines, new sensor technologies, and intelligent workshops. In the future, industrial transformation will embody the characteristics of "linking, high efficiency, flexibility and customization". It is not only the transformation of tools, but also the intelligent transformation of production lines, which will change the production process and make it more flexible and efficient. Moreover, this transformation will also promote the change of the relationship between production and consumers. Its concept and application are being accepted by more and more enterprises. China's industrial transformation and upgrading is based on the premise of consumption upgrading. China has more than 1.4 billion consumers and 100 million middle class. China will be the largest test ground for the future industrial revolution and upgrading in the world.

In 2018, VNU, together with FNA Japan workshop network, established the "FIF future industrial exhibition" project, which will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Center in 2018. The first stop is China Japan alliance cooperation. At the same time, strategic cooperation has been established with the Netherlands, France and other countries. The main purpose is to promote dialogue, trade docking, technical exchanges and investment cooperation among enterprises in the industry. 2018fif key exhibition area: industrial automation and robot, intelligent manufacturing equipment, industrial parts, new materials, etc., presenting the latest industrial development achievements in industrial automation, digital factory, new energy, research and technology, etc. The summit will focus on the theme of "industrial trend change, top technology exchange, innovative product display, policy orientation", etc. In the later stage, FIF will work with more advanced industrial countries and institutions to build a gathering place for advanced industrial development achievements and jointly expand industrial economy with enterprises.
