The 2018 Beijing Design Expo will be held in the national agricultural exhibition hall from September 21 to 25. The theme of the Expo will be "pay homage to life", covering all aspects of clothing, food, housing, transportation and use, integrating innovation, vision, experience and negotiation, so as to build a platform for domestic and foreign design enterprises and designers to connect with related industries and achieve win-win coexistence. There are many theme exhibitions under the Expo, daily use is the way -- the theme design exhibition of Chinese traditional crafts revitalization, focusing on the significance of traditional crafts into modern life; new species design exhibition, in the form of pioneer interactive design, brings the public into an unprecedented blending aesthetic experience; Chinese cultural IP and innovative design exhibition, from the perspective of culture and art, animation, film and television, original design, time The four aspects of advocating life present the reuse and redevelopment of many ancient cultural IP in China at present.

In addition to the Expo, this year's design week will also hold ten major parts, including theme exhibition, host city, Beijing Design Award, Beijing Design Forum, innovation design service conference, etc. At present, the most grounded design tour activity has been determined to hold Beijing cultural symbol visual design exhibition in "chengwai". The exhibition is supervised by art design research center of China Media University. It will use design language to carry out visual transformation of all kinds of representative cultural symbols in Beijing, both traditional and modern.
