Exhibition Brief
The biennial nor-shipping has been successfully held for 26 times, which is the world-renowned top event of shipping industry. It has become the world's second largest maritime industry exhibition after SMM of Hamburg Maritime Exhibition in Germany. It is also the largest, highest and most influential professional trade exhibition in the field of shipbuilding in the world Relevant exhibitors, purchasers and visitors from all over the world have provided a good platform for exchange and cooperation. SMM is held in two years in Hamburg, Germany, nor-shipping is held in a single year, and the 27th nor-shipping will be the largest maritime exhibition in Europe in 2019.
Norway is the fourth largest shipping country in the world, and also the largest shipping group in the world. Through close cooperation among the groups, the technology of Norwegian ships and marine equipment, especially the construction level of high-tech ships and marine engineering, is leading in the world. Since the 1970s, with the development of Norway's offshore oil industry, Norway has developed the world's second marine engineering fleet in addition to traditional shipping, fishing boats, ship equipment and other industries, and each industry in the field of marine engineering has a unique leading position. Compared with other countries limited to one or two fields, Norwegian business has the advantages of comprehensive and specialized combination, involving the whole industry upstream and downstream, suppliers, service industry and other fields, and leading the world in the fields of oil and gas product transportation, chemical transportation, RO ro ship, marine engineering ship and so on.

Market introduction
Norway's maritime industry has a long history, with one of the largest and most perfect maritime groups in the world. Shipbuilding industry is one of the main industries in Norway. The technology of manufacturing large-scale cruise ships, liquefied natural gas transport ships, RO ro ships, high-tech fishing boats, refrigerated ships, offshore supply ships, high-speed catamarans and seismic exploration ships in Norway is at the advanced level in the world. At present, Norway has 300 small and medium-sized and 5 large-scale manufacturers of marine equipment. 60% of Norwegian marine equipment is exported, accounting for 8-10% of the world market share. In addition, Norway has more than 200 shipyards, of which Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen and Trondheim are the most important shipbuilding bases. In the annual operating revenue of NOK 410 billion, the shipowner industry accounts for SEK 211 billion, the maritime service industry for SEK 92.7 billion, the marine equipment industry for SEK 66.5 billion and the shipyard industry for SEK 39.3 billion.
Development advantages of China's drilling platform march into Norway's North Sea
John Fredriksen, a Norwegian owner, is the second most valuable drilling platform fleet in the world. Fredriksen's seadrill, North Atlantic drilling and Northern drilling subsidiaries have 38 drilling platforms with a total value of US $5.64 billion. The group also ranked second a year ago, with 47 ships and $6.13 billion. The top 10 shipowners also include CNOOC, whose fleet value increased from $1.97 billion to $2.73 billion, as well as American companies noble drilling, Rowan companies and Danish Maersk drilling.
According to relevant data, Norway currently has 105 drilling platforms, with a fleet value of about US $14.22 billion, and is the largest drilling platform owner in the world. The second-largest us has 174 rigs, but the fleet is worth only $10.82 billion. The UK is third with a fleet value of US $9.62 billion. China ranks fourth with a fleet worth $6.71 billion. Sweden ranks fifth with Transocean, with a fleet worth $5.03 billion. The top 10 are also Mexico, Singapore, Denmark, Brazil and Greece.
Due to the poor sea conditions in the North Sea of Norway and high requirements for the performance and specifications of offshore platforms, entering the North Sea of Norway has become a synonym for offshore platforms entering the high-end market. Among the 221 semi submersible drilling platforms currently in service in the world, only 29 have passed the AOC certification issued by the Norwegian Petroleum Safety Administration (PSA), of which 4 are built by Chinese offshore enterprises. The construction quality and operation performance of the Deepwater semi submersible drilling platform delivered by Chinese offshore enterprises have been recognized by the mainstream customers in the North Sea of Norway. Although made in China accounts for a small share of the North Sea market as a whole, China has accounted for 50% of the world's deep-water semi submersible drilling platforms delivered to Norway's North sea operations in the past five years, and its growth momentum is attracting attention.
Industry concentration is high, and access to Norwegian market means access to the world
Norway's maritime industry has a high geographical concentration, and many cities have formed characteristic maritime industry centers, and occupy a certain position in the global maritime industry. Oslo has the advantages of financing and legal affairs concentration; Bergen has the advantages of shipping and marine engineering ship concentration; Othon has the advantages of shipbuilding, equipment and marine engineering ship operation concentration. Norway's maritime industry focuses on famous shipowner tycoons, well-known family businesses, the world's leading special ship transportation enterprises, and other large enterprises. Through the platform of Norwegian maritime industry center, we can get the opportunity to enter the mainstream of the development of large-scale shipping and maritime enterprises in the world, grasp the trend of shipping development, and take the lead in the economic and industrial globalization.
High tech meets the needs of transformation and upgrading of Chinese Enterprises
The Norwegian business has completed a leap from quantity to quality. Norwegian enterprises do not simply pursue transportation capacity and volume. More enterprises focus on special areas with high technology content and high profit margin. High technology and R & D have become the biggest characteristics of Norwegian maritime industry. Being familiar with the development and trend of the maritime industry will be conducive to the transformation and upgrading of the industry and the improvement of the profitability of enterprises. At present, China's shipbuilding industry is changing from labor-intensive to capital intensive and technology intensive, from a single shipbuilding industry to the whole industrial chain and upstream and downstream extension. There are transformation needs in R & D, simulator, control equipment, life-saving equipment, aquaculture equipment and other fields. Cooperation with Norwegian enterprises can be carried out, which will enable our enterprise to better grasp the development trend of the next generation of technology, and make the transition from standard executor to standard setter.
