Guangdong International Tourism Industry Expo (citie), formerly known as Guangdong International Tourism Expo, has been successfully held for 13 times since its first holding in 2005. Guangdong Tourism Expo is based in Guangdong, radiating South China, facing the whole country and looking at the world, so as to exchange information between the supplier and the demander, provide professional platform for business development and product procurement for domestic and foreign tourism industry, and is the largest tourism exhibition in South China with the largest number of exhibitors and professional buyers.

Review 2017

With an exhibition area of 90000 square meters and 8 theme pavilions, the 2017 Tourism Expo has 3000 exhibitors from 55 countries and regions, with Thailand as its guest of honor. European countries accounted for 35% of the total, and more than half of the long-distance destination countries outside Asia. More than 200 domestic and foreign tourism institutions, such as Seychelles, Madagascar and the Northern Mariana Islands, first landed at Guangdong Tourism Fair, with 80% more new exhibitors than in 2016. There are about 20000 professional buyers, 5000 overseas buyers, 56 theme activities and nearly 500000 visitors.

Guangdong tourism industry investment and financing meeting was held for the first time. 330 tourism investment projects were collected in Guangdong Province, involving a total investment of 689.5 billion yuan. 54 projects including Huizhou Xinghe Zhigu, Yangjiang country garden Yueliangwan coastal tourism resort and Jieyang Jinghai Bay cultural tourism characteristic town signed cooperation agreements or contracts with partners, with a total investment of 78.9 billion yuan.
