The 2018 East Asia Expo and the sixth South Korea commodity Expo will be held in Jinan from July 6 to 8. The Expo is co sponsored by Jinan Municipal People's government, Korea trade and investment revitalization commune, Japan Association for the promotion of international trade, Hong Kong Federation of industry and Commerce of all regions, Provincial Department of Commerce, overseas Chinese office and provincial council for the promotion of international trade.

As the capital of Shandong Province, Jinan has the fulcrum effect of inheriting the East and the West and radiating the surrounding areas. Since 2012, the South Korean Commodity Fair has been successfully held in Jinan for five consecutive sessions. The first four sessions have a total exhibition area of more than 90000 square meters, with a trading volume of 2.5 billion yuan. It is known as the largest South Korean commodity theme exhibition outside the South Korean mainland, and the only international brand independently built by Jinan in recent years Exhibition. This year, as an upgraded version of the Korea Expo, the first East Asia Expo plans to focus on organizing the exhibition of featured and advantageous commodities with new technologies, new industries, new formats and new models of South Korea, Japan and our province as the core.
