The 13th East Asia International Food Trade Fair 2018 will be held in Yantai International Expo Center from June 29 to July 2. The 12th "Food Expo" was successfully held in Yantai in June 2017. 186 delegations from 16 countries, including Japan, South Korea, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Australia, and 21 provinces and cities in China, including Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and 21 domestic provinces and cities, and 2100 food industry related enterprises participated in the Expo, with an exhibition area of 2100 square meters and more than 9700 famous new and special products, More than 380 foreign purchasers, more than 2600 import and export traders in China, more than 5700 agency distributors, more than 8600 stores, wholesalers and retailers, restaurants and hotels, e-commerce, wechat merchants and other procurement negotiations were attracted. The transaction volume of the exhibition reached 2.97 billion yuan, more than 470 cooperation agreements were signed, and the intended investment was 1.16 billion yuan. The overall satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors is 92.7% and 96.3% respectively.
With the theme of "green, innovation, cooperation and development" and the purpose of promoting import trade, export trade and domestic trade, the Expo has an exhibition area of 28000 square meters and 1200 international standard booths. It is expected that there will be about 3200 food industry enterprises from Japan, South Korea, Europe and America, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and 27 provinces and cities in China, and 200000 visitors will participate in the exhibition. At the same time, a series of activities were held, such as soliciting distribution agents, promoting domestic and foreign cooperation projects, negotiating import and export trade and investment and financing projects, ordering large-scale supermarkets with samples, advertising and publishing.
