The 2018 art Xiamen International Expo will be held in Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 25 to 28. Based in Xiamen, radiating Taiwan and facing Southeast Asia, the exhibition is committed to building a professional, free and market-oriented Asian art trade and exhibition platform. It is reported that the Expo will bring together more than 200 Chinese and foreign art institutions from 11 countries and regions to exhibit thousands of the latest masterpieces of world-renowned artists, offering Xiamen citizens a special experience of integrating art and life.

This year, art Xiamen Expo is the fourth. It is reported that the Expo covers a total area of 20000 square meters and is divided into three areas - public art area, contemporary area and classic area. The Expo has also added a tour guide service. The organizing committee will invite art collection instructors, well-known curators, art connoisseurs and collectors as tour guides to accompany and explain art expertise and appreciation collection knowledge, so as to make the exhibition more professional and accurate.

Under the support and guidance of China Artists Association, Central Academy of fine arts, China National Academy of painting, Fujian Provincial Department of culture, Fujian Artists Association, Xiamen Municipal Committee and government, Xiamen Artists Association, the Organizing Committee of Xiamen Art Expo successfully held the 2015, 2016 and 2017 art Xiamen expositions in Xiamen International Exhibition center. The art feast, which brings together the elites of politics, commerce and art, has achieved both economic and social benefits, and has aroused a warm response from all walks of life. It is not only conducive to promoting the development of the art market in Fujian, the economic improvement of the art industry, but also conducive to accelerating the formation of a new order in the art market across the Taiwan Strait and Southeast Asia.

Three museums:
1. Contemporary Art Museum
The exhibition area is set up in C3 Hall of Xiamen Convention and Exhibition Center, with a planned area of 9000 square meters, which will present a new exhibition. There are not only world-class influential contemporary galleries, but also vigorous emerging art space. It will display: oil paintings, comprehensive materials, sculptures, installations, images, photography, behavioral arts and other works.

Exhibition areas include: Art root seeking theme exhibition, women's art theme exhibition, contemporary ink and watercolor Theme Exhibition

2. Contemporary classic Museum
The contemporary classic Pavilion is located in C1 and C2 pavilions of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a planned area of 9000 square meters. This year, art Xiamen cooperates with a number of art institutions to continue the clues of previous thematic exhibitions. Through exploring the systematic presentation of various art forms in the current context, such as traditional Chinese painting, classical oil painting, lacquer painting, sculpture, Buddha art, etc., the masterpieces of various regions, historical periods, various art themes and various art languages are displayed.

The exhibition area includes: Youth ceramic art theme exhibition, lacquer painting theme exhibition, college cooperation theme exhibition, Buddha art theme exhibition and meticulous painting theme exhibition.

3. Auction exhibition hall
The exhibition area is located in C1 Hall of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, which shows the pre exhibition of ancient art works of major auction houses. The planned area of the exhibition area is 3000 square meters. Art Xiamen Expo presents the fine collections of auction houses, museums, antique cities and collectors, and conducts on-site auction.
