Approved by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, China independent brand Expo is jointly sponsored by the national development and Reform Commission, the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of industry and information technology, the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of market supervision, the state Intellectual Property Office and the Shanghai Municipal People's government. It aims to show the achievements of China's independent brand development, expand the popularity and influence of independent brands, create a good image of China's independent brands, establish the concept of brand economic development, strengthen the confidence of independent brand development, promote the consumption of independent brand products, promote the construction of brand power, and meet the needs of people's good life.

The first China independent brand Expo is scheduled to open in Shanghai Exhibition Center on May 10, 2018 (China brand day). The theme of the Expo is "China brand world share", with a three-day exhibition period and an exhibition area of about 25000 square meters. The Expo is set up with a central exhibition area, a local exhibition area, a brand service exhibition area and a featured activity exhibition platform. The central exhibition area is composed of the preface hall and the central hall, in which the preface hall mainly displays the development history, development achievements and development prospects of China's brand; the central hall mainly displays the achievements of central enterprise brand building. The local exhibition area is composed of the booths of the people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, cities specifically designated in the plan and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps. Each booth is divided into three parts, displaying the brand development work of local governments, the development achievements of well-known independent brands, and the development potential of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, etc. Brand service exhibition area mainly displays the capacity, level and achievements of brand service institutions.

At that time, more than 50 delegations, more than 600 domestic famous brand enterprises, more than 100 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises and more than 20 brand service agencies will gather at the exhibition to show the charm of their own brands.

Central exhibition area: it is composed of preface hall and central hall. Among them, preface hall mainly shows the development history, development achievements and development prospects of China's brand; Central Hall mainly shows the achievements of central enterprise brand construction.

Local exhibition area: it is composed of the booths of the people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, cities specifically designated in the state plan and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps. Each booth is divided into three parts, displaying the brand development work of local governments, the development achievements of well-known independent brands, and the development potential of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, etc.

Brand service exhibition area: mainly displays the capacity, level and achievements of brand service institutions.
