China international agricultural chemicals and Plant Protection Exhibition (CAC), sponsored by the chemical industry branch of China Council for the promotion of international trade, is held in Shanghai every March. Since it was first held in 1999, CAC has become the world's largest agricultural chemicals exhibition after 18 sessions of rapid development, and obtained UFI certification in 2012. The exhibition is the most important trade exchange and cooperation platform in the global agrochemical industry, integrating new product display, technical exchange and trade negotiation. It is the most professional and active agrochemical exhibition, the window for Chinese agrochemical enterprises to go to the world, and the annual industry gathering of global agrochemical workers.

"The 19th China International agrochemical and Plant Protection Exhibition", "the 19th China International agrochemical equipment and plant protection equipment exhibition" and "the 9th China International New Fertilizer Exhibition" were successfully concluded in Shanghai New International Expo Center on March 1-3, 2018. The exhibition uses six pavilions of Shanghai New International Expo Center to build a trade exchange and cooperation platform integrating pesticide, fertilizer, seed, non-agricultural medicine, production and packaging equipment, plant protection equipment, logistics, consultation, laboratory and supporting services. 1336 enterprises from 30 countries and regions showed an increase of 10% in the number of exhibitors and 15% in the exhibition area of 78000 square meters compared with the previous exhibition. Among them, overseas exhibitors cover more than 30 countries and regions, including Australia, Brazil, Russia, France, South Korea, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the United States, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Italy, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc., and more than 90 overseas enterprises have participated in the exhibition. India, South Korea, Turkey, Vietnam are all displayed in national exhibition groups, international Focus on continuous warming. During the exhibition from March 7 to 9, nearly 37000 professionals from more than 100 countries came to visit and discuss. During the exhibition, N5 Pavilion held overseas exhibition promotion meeting, overseas exhibition promotion area and fertilizer new products, new technology release area, and even the popularity index soared.

March is the peak season of demand for agricultural and chemical products. As the largest exhibition of agricultural chemicals in the world, the exhibitors also take the exhibition before and after as an important window to raise prices. The influence of CAC can be seen. At the CAC opening dinner held the day before the opening of the exhibition, the top 20 Chinese pesticide export enterprises in 2017 were announced, and the 2016 overseas market development award was awarded.
