Lanling county is located in the south of Shandong Province, next to Jiangsu Province in the south, Linyi in the East, Zaozhuang in the west, Mount Tai in the north. It is located in the intersection of the great opening up of coastal areas and the great development of the Huang Huai Hai Plain. The total area of the county is 1724 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 1617000 mu. With superior natural conditions and rich agricultural products resources, Lanling grows more than 1.2 million mu of various vegetables annually, with a total output of more than 4.2 million tons. It is a major vegetable production county in China, known as "the hometown of Chinese vegetables", "the hometown of Chinese garlic", "the hometown of Chinese burdock", "the hometown of Chinese edible fungus" and "the south vegetable garden of Shandong", and awarded as "the top ten counties in China's vegetable industry", "the unfair fruits and vegetables of China" "Top ten counties", "national pollution-free vegetable export production demonstration base county", "national export food and agricultural product quality and safety demonstration area", "national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration county".
