The 2026 China Chongqing Bamboo Industry Technology and Equipment Expo will be held on October 16th

Host: Organizing Committee of Chongqing High tech and Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Expo, China

Organizer: Chongqing Zhongbo Exhibition Co., Ltd

Exhibition Background:

The variety of bamboo products in China has exceeded 15000, with an annual output value of over 520 billion yuan. The bamboo industry system has been initially established, and the bamboo industry is entering a historic strategic opportunity period. Vigorously developing the bamboo industry is conducive to leveraging the benefits of the bamboo forest's four reservoirs, promoting regional economic development, rural revitalization, assisting in ecological civilization construction, bamboo resource cultivation, bamboo processing and utilization, bamboo forest carbon sink development, bamboo forest ecological station construction, bamboo brand promotion, bamboo industry technology talent cultivation, bamboo resource cultivation, bamboo brand construction, promoting innovative development of the bamboo industry, and playing a positive promoting role in areas such as replacing plastic, wood, and cotton with bamboo. Fully implement bamboo forests for bamboo shoots, timber, dual-use bamboo shoots and timber, pulp bamboo forests, and landscape bamboo forests, and develop bamboo shoots, bamboo composite materials, bamboo fiber composite materials, directional recombinant bamboo, bamboo wrapping materials, bamboo based charcoal (carbon) materials, bamboo based biomaterials, bamboo furniture, bamboo daily necessities, bamboo based new materials, intelligent equipment, etc.

Enhance the quality of leading products and bamboo shoot products, improve the link between bamboo shoot processing enterprises and bamboo farmers' interests, increase investment in research and development of bamboo shoot storage and preservation technologies, and achieve green and mechanized processing. To improve the quality of bamboo and bamboo products, efforts will be made to break through bottlenecks such as extensive bamboo processing, inefficient processing machinery, and easy mold and cracking of bamboo products. This will promote the upgrading of engineering materials such as bamboo fiber composite materials and directional recombination of bamboo, as well as advanced materials such as bamboo based carbon (carbon) materials, bamboo based biomaterials, and bamboo based plastic products. Explore the function of bamboo products as a substitute for plastic and wood, accelerate the replacement of plastic and bamboo consumer goods in industries such as hotels, catering, and home furnishings with bamboo handicrafts and daily necessities, and promote the revitalization of bamboo towns.

Most bamboo forests are distributed in mountainous areas with high altitudes and steep slopes, and transportation difficulties have long been a bottleneck for industrial development. The integrated development of low altitude and forest bamboo economy, vigorously promoting the low altitude transportation of bamboo by unmanned aerial vehicles.

The expo focuses on showcasing bamboo architecture, bamboo building materials, bamboo transportation, bamboo processing, bamboo pulp paper, bamboo furniture, bamboo charcoal, bamboo crafts, bamboo fiber, bamboo food, bamboo machinery and other fields, attracting high attention from the whole society. The industry strengthens communication, development cooperation, and open sharing. The exhibition will comprehensively display the entire industry chain from bamboo harvesting to deep processing, from creative design to terminal application.
