From May 28 to 30, 2026, the first Xizang Nyingchi Engineering Construction Expo successfully ended in Nyingchi Engineering Construction Exhibition Center -40000 square meters of exhibition space, nearly 500 exhibitors, and more than 20000 professional visitors. This industry event, the largest and highest specification in the history of similar exhibitions in Xizang, uses a set of hard core figures to write the first era footnote for the plateau infrastructure industry.

Based on the historic window of the overall acceleration of infrastructure construction in southeast Xizang, the "High Quality Development Conference for Cooperation between the East and the West of the Plateau Engineering Industry Chain" was heavily involved in this activity, which was on the same stage and resonated with the second Tibet Linzhi Engineering Construction Expo in 2027. On one hand, there is a "top-level dialogue" between national strategy and cooperation between the East and the West, and on the other hand, there is a "landing competition" of the entire industry chain of engineering construction. The two forces converge in Nyingchi, elevating an expo to a "national action" of modernization on the plateau.

The conference anchored the three main lines of national aid to Tibet construction, industrial cooperation between the east and the west, and industrial transfer docking. It invited more than 120 industry supervisory units from the east and the west, as well as central enterprises and research institutes to participate in the construction of aid to Tibet. It gathered more than 300 industry authorities, central enterprise executives, and project owners, directly pointing out the difficulties of high-altitude construction, permafrost treatment, ecological fragility, and other "high-altitude engineering".
