In the countries along the belt and road, Burma has many investment opportunities. Myanmar is rich in electric power resources and natural gas reserves. Its hydropower potential exceeds 100000 megawatts of installed capacity. At present, the installed capacity of hydropower stations has been measured to be 46000 megawatts, while the existing installed capacity is only 3033 megawatts, less than one tenth of the potential installed capacity. Only 34% of the population in China can use electric power.
At present, Myanmar has a serious power shortage, about 70% of the population can not enjoy the national power supply.
