The Wuxi International New Energy Electric Vehicle Exhibition was founded in 2006 and is jointly organized by the Wuxi Chamber of Commerce of the China International Chamber of Commerce, the Xishan District People's Government, the Professional Committee of the China Bicycle Association for Electric Scooters, the Jiangsu Bicycle and Electric Vehicle Association, and Jiangsu Bicycle Co., Ltd. So far, 18 exhibitions have been held, with a scale of 20000 square meters and over 200 participating companies. The Wuxi exhibition has become an important part of the electric vehicle industry exhibition in East China, and also marks the status and importance of Wuxi's electric vehicle industry in the country. So far, there are over 400 electric vehicle manufacturers in Wuxi, among which the top ten electric vehicle companies in China have set up factories in Wuxi for production. Both Yadea and Xinri, the two major listed companies, have their headquarters in Wuxi and create huge GDP for Wuxi every year.
