The 2025 Modern Shanghai Design Week and Modern Shanghai Fashion Home Exhibition (Maison Shanghai) was successfully held from September 9th to 12th at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The theme of this exhibition is "Design Infinite Possibility", and the on-site popularity has reached a phenomenal level: the number of visitors has soared to 47077, a year-on-year increase of 55.6%, and the number of overseas visitors has shown explosive growth, with participants covering 136 countries and regions! The exhibition covers four major exhibition halls, gathering 800+participating brands, focusing on four new directions of "design, life, building materials, and intelligence", presenting 20+themed special exhibitions, 100+master forums, and 200+source factories, comprehensively building a global design creativity and lifestyle source centered on Shanghai.

Based on the fruitful achievements of this year, the 2026 Modern Shanghai Design Week will continue to promote Chinese design from "manufacturing" to "creation", and then to "value output", creating a five in one design business loop of "viewing exhibitions, selecting goods, studying abroad, winning awards, and socializing", connecting creativity and industrial landing.

The 2026 exhibition will kick off again from September 7th to 10th at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. Focusing on the core of design business, we will deepen immersive curation, reshape supply chain efficiency, strengthen business conversion engines, expand digital platforms, and achieve value extension of exhibition extension and year-round linkage.
