In 2025, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development have issued a document to support urban renewal actions through central financial quota subsidies, with a focus on the renovation of underground pipelines including urban water supply and drainage, gas, heating, etc. Funds are tilted towards the western regions and municipalities directly under the central government, with a maximum subsidy of 1.2 billion yuan, providing solid financial support for the project launch.

The construction of underground pipeline networks has been elevated to the level of "urban lifeline engineering" and "core focus of new urbanization strategy". The National Development and Reform Commission has clarified that during the 15th Five Year Plan period, it is expected to construct and renovate more than 700000 kilometers of underground pipelines, with an additional investment demand of over 5 trillion yuan. This marks that the field has entered a period of explosive growth driven by national strategy.

In order to actively cooperate with the country's efforts to promote infrastructure construction, the 2026 China International Pipeline Network Exhibition will fully utilize industry advantages, resource advantages, and policy advantages to promote urban pipeline network renovation and construction.
