INTRODUCTION
In order to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on tourism work, implement the requirements of the "Special Action Plan for Boosting Consumption" of the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, the "Several Measures for Further Cultivating New Growth Points and Prosperous Culture and Tourism Consumption" of the General Office of the State Council, and the "Implementation Plan for Enhancing the Adaptability of Consumer Goods Supply and Demand and Further Promoting Consumption" of six ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and promote the cultural tourism industry to make good progress in the "15th Five Year Plan", our bureau will hold the 2026 Fourth Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo (CTCE) at the Beijing National Convention Center Phase II from June 12 (Friday) to 14 (Sunday).
The Beijing Cultural and Tourism Expo, with the theme of "New Products, New Scenarios, New Technologies, and New Business Forms," strengthens its radiation driving, resource allocation, and innovation leading role in the field of cultural and tourism consumption. It leads industrial upgrading with the upgrading of cultural and tourism consumption, and is committed to cross-border integration of culture, tourism, sports, technology, finance, commerce, and other fields, building a new ecology of integrated development of cultural, commercial, and sports exhibitions, and promoting precise matching between the supply of high-quality cultural and tourism products and the demand for high-quality consumption. The Beijing Cultural and Tourism Expo fully demonstrates the core values of "trend leadership+resource docking+transaction conversion" It has become an important platform for showcasing, exchanging and trading in the national and global cultural and tourism industry.
The previous exhibition covered an area of 20000 square meters, with participation from 22 countries and regions as well as nearly 20 provinces and cities. It received 103000 visitors in three days and achieved on-site sales of 211 million yuan. During this period, a series of promotional activities were held, including the 2025 Smart Cultural and Tourism Consumption Innovation Conference and Beijing Cultural and Tourism Consumption Assistance, which achieved significant results.
During the three-day 2026 Beijing Cultural and Tourism Expo, we will focus on multiple areas including inbound and outbound tourism, urban cultural and creative industries, digital tourism, scenic area equipment, silver hair health and wellness, cultural and tourism finance, outdoor camping, and characteristic neighborhoods.
