On February 16, after a spring snow, in front of the gate of the 29th China International fishing products trade exhibition (hereinafter referred to as chinafish) of China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi exhibition hall in Beijing), a long line of people came to a feast with joy.

Despite the global economic recession in recent years, the global fishing gear market still faces various pressures such as shrinking. This year, however, chinafish's booth has been fully booked, and calls for booth booking continue to be received. According to the statistics after the exhibition, the number of countries and regions that participated in the exhibition has reached 80, the most in recent years. In the 16th Annual Conference of China's exhibition industry held in Sanya, Hainan Province in January 2019, chinafish won the "gold medal of China's brand exhibition" for 40 years of reform and opening up, and Mr. Li Jiang won the "outstanding person award of China's exhibition industry".

As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, some new humanized services of chinafish will shine at your eyes: convenient mobile phone charging station, standby medicine box, scanning QR code to obtain electronic booth map, portable paper booth map, a brand new best product selection area All of them reflect chinafish's continuous progress and positive attitude of doing well in the face of challenges and improving comprehensive services for both sides of the exhibition business.

This year's chinafish is still in two pavilions, E1 and E2, with an exhibition area of 26700 square meters. A total of 515 enterprises participated in the exhibition, including 475 domestic enterprises from 19 provinces and autonomous regions. There are 40 overseas enterprises from 15 countries and regions including the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Singapore, Pakistan, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. (including 5 new companies, 86 new exhibitors), 4 media companies and 1 intellectual property company. There are 1320 standard stalls and 117 special decoration enterprises.

Domestic traders come from 214 companies in 14 provinces, 1 autonomous region and 4 municipalities directly under the central government. Nearly 600 people visited the exhibition. International traders are from 80 countries, one more than last year, 649 companies, about 100 fewer than last year (mainly the United States). There are nearly 1300 foreign traders (detailed figures are shown in the table below), although the number of traders has decreased. However, according to the number of countries increased, the number of exhibitors in this exhibition is obviously related to the reduction of funds and the number of exhibitors. Especially in the three-day exhibition period, the exhibition is full of harmonious and optimistic atmosphere and enthusiasm. Business negotiation, cooperation negotiation and investment intention are frequent, and many companies' booths are busy. It seems that for the global economic recession, the friends of the global fishing gear industry have already adapted to it, and have made enough psychological preparations and response measures to face it calmly.
