Notice of the First Round of the 2026 (19th) Automotive Lightweight Conference

The 2026 (19th) Automotive Lightweight Conference (referred to as "ALCE2026"), jointly hosted by the China Society of Automotive Engineers and the Automotive Lightweight Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, is scheduled to be held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu in September 2026. During the conference, more than 20 events will be organized, including special meetings, corporate venues, industry upstream and downstream demand docking, and new technology releases. Over 2000 professionals from automotive companies, material and component companies, universities, and research institutions from more than 10 countries and regions will attend to discuss the blueprint for automotive lightweighting.

1. Main venue

1. Main venue 1: Academicians and renowned scholars from professional fields at home and abroad will be invited to share the latest developments in automotive lightweighting technology and related industry policies.

2. Main venue 2: Mainly invites domestic and foreign automobile companies, core component companies, etc. to share energy-saving and new energy vehicle lightweight technology routes and their enterprise lightweight technology development plans.

2. Sub venue

The technical report covers professional fields such as new automotive steel, advanced fiber-reinforced composite materials, high-performance lightweight alloys, heterogeneous material connection processes, new architecture and integrated design, key components and chassis systems, forming processes and equipment, key performance testing and evaluation, and lightweight design for low altitude industries.

3. International Lightweight Special Session

Based on the expert committee of the Lightweight Alliance, the Sino German (European) Working Committee, and the Sino Japanese Working Committee, 2-3 international professional venues for automotive lightweighting will be established.

4. Enterprise Lightweight Special Session

According to the unified agenda and requirements set by the conference, we accept the commission of enterprises in the field of automotive lightweighting to set up enterprise special sessions for domestic and foreign related enterprises with technological advantages.

5. Lightweight Dean Forum

During the conference, the second Dean's Forum will be organized, inviting leaders from automotive enterprise research institutes, university research institutions, professional institutes, and other departments to explore the collaborative innovation mode of deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application in the field of automotive lightweighting, collision technology cognition, and consensus building on innovation.
