Titanium Exhibition 2026 China (Shanghai) International Titanium Industry Exhibition - www.globalomp.com

Regarding titanium industry manufacturers: From October 12th to 16th, 2026, the China (Shanghai) International Titanium Industry Exhibition will be held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. As the largest titanium industry exhibition in China, this exhibition will attract more than 600 companies from around the world. We look forward to your visit. At the same time, multiple technical forums such as the "International Titanium Industry High end Development Forum" will be held, inviting domestic and foreign experts and representatives to interact and exchange ideas, explore industry development trends, and share their experiences and achievements. At that time, we warmly welcome domestic and foreign titanium industry and related industry personnel to visit and exchange ideas.

The titanium industry is a high-tech and capital intensive industry with complex smelting technology and high processing difficulty, while also being a high growth sunrise industry. Titanium and titanium alloys generally require three steps from melting to final product: preparation of sponge titanium, preparation of titanium materials, and application of titanium materials. The first two steps are technically complex and difficult to prepare, which are the difficulties and key links in titanium application. The quality of sponge titanium and titanium materials directly determines the quality of titanium products. Currently, only a few countries such as the United States, Russia, Japan, Europe, and China are able to carry out industrial production. In recent years, China's demand for high-end titanium materials has shown a rapid growth trend year by year under the guidance of plans such as the "Large Aircraft Program," "Space Station Program," "Chang'e Program," "Shipbuilding Program," and "Nuclear Power Program. At present, the supply side structural reform of the domestic economy has been further deepened. China's titanium industry has withstood the sharp fluctuations of the market and the environmental protection pressure of the country, provinces and cities. Under the guidance of the relevant policies of the national military civilian integration, Industry 4.0 and the the Belt and Road, and under the promotion of a series of policies and measures such as quality and efficiency improvement, innovation driven, transformation and development by various ministries and commissions, China's titanium industry has begun to gradually walk out of the valley and enter a new round of rising channels, showing some development characteristics different from the past. The entire industry is developing in many positive ways.

The demand for titanium materials in high-end fields such as aerospace, medical, and marine engineering will continue to grow, such as flow energy storage batteries, deep-sea equipment, and high-end medical devices, which are key breakthrough directions. Due to the low entry threshold of China's titanium industry, competition for low-end titanium materials is fierce. Therefore, the production strategy of high-end titanium materials is of greater significance, and the shift of product structure to the high-end has become an inevitable trend in its development. The demand for high-end titanium products in domestic industries such as petrochemicals, aerospace, power, marine engineering, and sports and leisure continues to be strong, while the demand for titanium materials in high-tech industries such as computers is also constantly emerging, promoting the development of titanium products towards high-end fields. At present, only 10% of titanium materials in China are used in high-end fields, while 50% are used in high-end fields abroad, which is a significant gap. The development of China's titanium industry towards high-end has received support from both policy and market directions. In addition, national defense construction that matches the improvement of economic strength will also promote the transfer of China's titanium industry to high-end fields, gradually improving the advantages of the industrial chain, which will be a long-term development process. Developing titanium strips, titanium and its alloy extruded pipes, and developing new functional titanium materials to meet the overall construction needs of the country is an important task for the development of China's titanium industry.

Resource constraints and environmental pressures are forcing the industry to transform, and green and low-carbon smelting, waste recycling, and energy-saving and consumption reducing technologies will become key. International competition is intensifying, but China's titanium industry has already gained global competitiveness and will enhance its international discourse power through technology exports, overseas layout, and other means in the future. The titanium industry will focus on high-end applications, green transformation, global layout, regional collaboration, and technological innovation in the future, with enormous potential, but it also needs to address challenges such as high costs and technological barriers. The 2026 Shanghai International Titanium Industry Exhibition is a professional exhibition on the theme of new materials industry under the "26th Shanghai Industry Expo". The exhibition area of the previous Industry Expo was nearly 300000 square meters, attracting more than 3000 enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions to participate. Through market-oriented, professional, international, and branding operations, it has developed into a certified exhibition through the International Federation of Exhibitions (UFI). This exhibition is about comprehensive solutions for the titanium industry, as well as an international event for professional users in the titanium production industry and the processing industry. Years of success have established its position as one of the most charming professional exhibitions in the titanium industry in China and even Asia, providing an ideal business platform for industry peers to meet, gather, and interact.
