Energy conservation and emission reduction in the construction industry are crucial links in achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The 2022 Green Building Expo will continue to adhere to the theme of "green, low-carbon, energy-saving transformation", deeply implement the concept of green, low-carbon and sustainable development, and urgently promote the green transformation of the traditional construction industry. It is necessary to promote the green and low-carbon development of the entire industry chain of green buildings from building materials, prefabricated construction (including prefabricated decoration), facility and equipment operation and maintenance throughout the entire life cycle.

About the exhibition
The 2025 Green Building Expo adheres to the theme of "Green, Low Carbon, Empowering High Quality Residential Buildings". The "Architecture+" curatorial concept is the first to be promoted, with application scenarios such as architecture+(industrial, elderly care, cultural tourism, new rural areas, commercial, residential), cross-border integration, diversified development, empowering high-quality development of the industry, focusing on three major areas: building energy conservation, villa systems, and health building. The planned exhibition area is 30000 square meters, with 350 companies participating. The 2024 Shanghai Green Building Expo, with the theme of "Green and Low Carbon, Empowering High Quality Residential Buildings", features three major thematic sections: Building Energy Efficiency, Prefabricated Buildings, and Interior Decoration. Nearly 500 domestic and foreign brand enterprises participated in the exhibition, with a display area of nearly 30000 square meters. The three-day exhibition attracted more than 30000 professional visitors. The content focuses on four new products and technologies in the hot fields of energy conservation, integrated insulation and decoration, new energy for buildings, light steel structures, modular buildings, integrated kitchens and bathrooms, building acoustics, and villa elevators in public institution buildings.
In terms of exhibitors, a total of 472 building materials companies from home and abroad participated in the exhibition. Among them, there are 450 domestic exhibitors and 22 overseas exhibitors.
In terms of audience, the three-day exhibition attracted a total of 31223 professional visitors, including 27993 domestic visitors and 3230 overseas visitors.
In terms of forums, there are various forms such as industry development themed forums, application technology forums, and enterprise new product launches. Nearly 20 live events were held, with over 50 guest speakers delivering speeches and attracting more than 1200 listeners.
