With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence technology and the rapid growth of market demand, China's humanoid robot industry is facing unprecedented development opportunities. According to relevant data, it is predicted that the market size of humanoid robots in China will reach 2.76 billion yuan by 2024 and 75 billion yuan by 2029, accounting for 32.7% of the world's total and ranking first in the world. At present, Hangzhou has more than 200 robot related enterprises, with a robot industry output value of 15 billion yuan by 2023. It has gathered 10 specialized and innovative "little giants", covering the production of robot parts, complete machine manufacturing, system integration and other industrial chain links.

Recently, Hangzhou has officially released the "Hangzhou Humanoid Robot Industry Development Plan (2024-2029)", which proposes key task measures from 15 aspects to empower the high-quality development of the robot industry. According to the "Plan", Hangzhou will focus on "optimal ontology+strongest brain" and accelerate the construction of an integrated innovation system and full industry chain ecology for the research and development, design, manufacturing, and application of humanoid robots.
