The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that it is necessary to firmly establish and practice the concept that green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver, deepen the prevention and control of environmental pollution, and continue to fight for the protection of blue skies, clear waters, and clean land. The demand for new technologies, industries, and formats in water environment governance has surged. In order to meet the strong market needs and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, the 2025 China (Shaoxing) International Water Treatment Technology and Environmental Protection Equipment Exhibition (WTEP) is scheduled to be held grandly at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 1-3, 2025.

The exhibition, with the theme of "Technology Breaks Waves, Clear Waters Reach Far", will invite relevant government departments such as the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development, Ecological Environment Department/Bureau, Provincial Academy of Environmental Sciences, and Urban Management Commission to provide guidance and support, ensuring the forward-looking and leading nature of the exhibition and providing an efficient platform for the integration of innovative technologies and markets in ecological and water environments.
