According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, significant achievements have been made in the construction of smart customs: the coverage rate of AI intelligent document review system has reached 97%, the penetration rate of CT intelligent drawing review equipment has reached 92%, and the overall clearance time has increased by more than 60% compared to 2017. These achievements not only strengthen the national security line, but also provide a solid support for the implementation of RCEP, the construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the high-quality development of foreign trade. At the same time, in the context of global industrial chain reconstruction and digital technology revolution, customs are also facing new challenges such as traditional security risks, cross-border data flow, and green rules.

In this context, the Smart Customs Clearance Technology and Equipment Expo (formerly known as the Customs Expo) will actively respond to the national "high-level opening-up" strategy, and comprehensively showcase the achievements of smart customs construction around the two themes of "technology guarding national security" and "innovation driving trade development".
