WTE 2026 promotes the development of water technology

Water is the source of life, essential for production, and the foundation of ecology. With the rapid growth of the world population and economic and social development, water resource issues are becoming increasingly prominent. At present, many people around the world live in areas with water scarcity and even lack access to clean drinking water. In addition, the intensification of global climate change and the frequent occurrence of extreme weather events such as floods and droughts pose severe challenges to global water security. To this end, the United Nations calls on all countries and regions to take action, share advanced development concepts and technological achievements in the field of water resources, adopt comprehensive management measures that are energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and eco-friendly, and achieve the 2030 sustainable development water related goals.

In response to the global challenge of water security, China adheres to the new development concept of innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing, and insists on the water management concept of "water conservation priority, spatial balance, systematic governance, and dual pronged efforts". It coordinates water disaster prevention and control, water resource conservation, aquatic state protection and restoration, and water environment governance, and ensures water use for nearly 20% of the world's population, accounting for 6% of the world's freshwater resources. China has made important contributions to achieving the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and jointly building a community with a shared future for mankind.

To promote international exchanges in the water industry, strengthen technological innovation and cooperation, and promote high-quality development of the water industry, the 8th Wuhan International Water Science and Technology Expo (WTE 2026) will be held from March 19-21, 2026 at the Wuhan International Expo Center. We cordially invite companies, experts, and scholars from around the world in the water related industry to participate in the exhibition and share new ideas, technologies, and applications in the field of water. Together, we aim to create a wonderful and diverse water industry event for the world.

Scope of WTE 2026 Exhibition

1. Note: 1. All domestic water technology industry chain enterprises that register for exhibitions before the end of the year can be charged directly based on the previous year's subsidy price;

2. Double sided standard booth corner fee: RMB 500 per booth for domestic enterprises and an additional 10% for foreign-funded enterprises;

3. Standard exhibition configuration: 3m x 3m=9 ㎡/piece, including white fence (2.5 meters high), one consultation table, two folding chairs, two spotlights, Chinese and English lintels, and carpet;

4. Luxury exhibition configuration: In addition to the standard booth configuration, the booth will be uniformly decorated with luxury to effectively reflect the overall strength and image of the participating enterprises. The plan is attached in the attached figure;

5. Open space booth: starting from 36 square meters, without any facilities. Exhibitors need to design and decorate themselves, and an additional special decoration management fee of 30 yuan/square meter will be charged on behalf of the exhibition hall.
