In order to implement the national strategy of high-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta, the "Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industry Expo" (referred to as the Yangtze River Delta Cultural Expo) was jointly initiated by the propaganda departments of the party committees of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in 2018. After seven years and five sessions, the exhibition area has expanded to 100000 square meters, becoming one of the largest and most diverse cultural industry expos in the country. It is an important platform for promoting the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta cultural industry and an authoritative exhibition that has obtained the highest international exhibition qualification UFI.

The 6th Yangtze River Delta Cultural Expo will be grandly held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in October 2025. It includes three exhibition areas: "Immersive Cultural and Tourism Equipment and Solutions" exhibition area, "Intelligent Film and Television Production, Special Cinema Equipment and Solutions" exhibition area, and "Museum Digital Integration" exhibition area.
