Low altitude economy is a comprehensive economic form that is driven by various low altitude flight activities of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, radiating and driving the integrated development of related fields. Its related products mainly include drones, eVTOLs (electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles), helicopters, traditional fixed wing aircraft, etc., involving two major scenarios: residential consumption and industrial applications.

Expanding diverse application scenarios is a major driving force for Anhui to promote the development of low altitude economy. Last year, Anhui Province released a list of opportunities and capabilities for low altitude economic application scenarios, with over a hundred such scenarios covering logistics, cultural tourism, agriculture, smart cities, and many other fields. Nowadays in Anhui, with the expansion of scenarios, low altitude economy is increasingly integrated into people's daily lives. It is not new for drones to deliver fast food, Dim sum and other goods, or even "send blood in the air". In addition, Anhui has also opened low altitude tourist routes such as Hefei Wuhu, Wuhu Mount Huangshan, so that tourists can have different sightseeing experiences.According to the Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of Low altitude Economy in Anhui Province (2024-2027) and Several Measures, by 2025, the scale of low altitude economy is expected to reach 60 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), with about 180 enterprises above designated size, including 1 to 2 ecological leading enterprises; By 2027, the scale of low altitude economy is expected to reach 80 billion yuan, and the number of enterprises above designated size is expected to reach around 240, including 3 to 5 ecological leading enterprises. 

About the World Manufacturing Conference

The World Manufacturing Conference is an important international conference approved by the State Council and the first event in our province. Towards green, towards novelty, towards wisdom, towards the future! The 2024 World Manufacturing Conference came to an end on September 23 at the Binhu Convention and Exhibition Center in Hefei. The total exhibition area of the conference is 80000 square meters, and our province organized 3347 enterprises to showcase new products, technologies, and achievements in the manufacturing industry. Accumulatively facilitated the signing of more than 3600 cooperative projects, with actual completed investments exceeding 1.5 trillion yuan.
