Exhibition Introduction: The 21st Latin American Foundry Exhibition (FENAF) and the 20th Foundry Conference (CONAF) will be held in S ã o Paulo, Brazil from July 21-24, 2026. This exhibition is jointly organized by the Brazilian Foundry Association (ABIFA) and the Latin American Foundry Association (ALAIF), and is the largest professional foundry exhibition in South America, held every two years. The exhibition has been successfully held for 20 sessions.

2024 is the 20th grand event, jointly organized by the Brazilian Foundry Association, the Brazilian Association of Metallurgy, Materials and Mining (ABM), and the Brazilian Aluminum Association (ABAL). Exhibitors from over 60 countries and regions, including China, Italy, the United States, Germany, and Argentina, including aluminum castings, cast iron, cast steel, equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and related consulting firms, participated in this summit.

In 2024, Beijing Eurasia International Exhibition Co., Ltd., as the largest exhibition organizer in China, led more than ten Chinese enterprises to jointly explore the South American market and achieved fruitful results. The exhibition hall covers an area of over 4000 square meters, and multiple professional casting technology conferences centered on the theme of "Sustainable Development - the Pillar Supporting the Future of Foundry Plants" were held during the exhibition, achieving in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the South American casting industry. At the same time, the exhibition has received strong support from Brazilian government departments such as industry and energy, and each session has set up dedicated technical exchange conferences and trade negotiation zones. The joint efforts of the two major associations in South America ensure the quality of the exhibition, while the strong membership lineup guarantees the exhibition's leading and timely technical and academic exchanges in the field of casting. The large international member procurement team and Brazilian government procurement also ensure the exhibition's great success in the trade of casting metals in South America.

The history of CONAF/FENAF can be traced back to 1979, when ABIFA - Brazilian Foundry Association was responsible for organizing the main casting activities in the industry. The first congress organized by this entity is called CONBRAFUND - Brazilian Foundry Congress. It was held in 1979 at the Hilton Hotel in Sao Paulo. The theme discussed by the 1991 attending speakers was the Brazilian industrial moment. Since then, the conference organized by ABIFA has been held every two years. With 400 speakers and 1995 subscribers, CONBRAFUND has been renamed CONAF - National Foundry Conference. After two editions, in 2009, the conference became an international conference, but its naming convention was only changed in 2024. This time, it was the CONAF-ABIFA Foundry Conference, which completed one version in its 20th edition. The first FENAF - Casting, Investment, and Equipment Exhibition was held in 1982 at the Maxud Square Hotel (SP), parallel to the second CONBRAFUND. Back then, two companies participated in the expo. In 2005, due to the fact that the exhibitors mainly came from companies in Argentina, Peru, and Paraguay, the name FENAF - South American Foundry Expo was adopted. In 2007, with Mexico joining the event, FENAF was renamed the Latin American Foundry Expo and has remained so to this day.

Audience sources include decision-makers, engineers, and research and development personnel from industrial casting and its main application industries (such as automotive/transportation, packaging, machinery and electronics, construction and building, and industrial related technology trade fields) in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, and other places; It is expected that 50000 visitors will attend the exhibition.
