Notice on the First Round of Holding the 2025 (18th) International Automotive Lightweight Conference and Exhibition

two、Main activities of the conference

The conference focuses on topics such as energy-saving and new energy vehicle lightweight industry technology routes, low-carbon lightweight technologies, key common technologies that urgently need to be broken through in industrialization, and industry wide hot topics and difficulties.

（1） Technical exchange

(1) Main venue (2 sessions)

① Main venue 1: It is planned to invite domestic and foreign academicians and renowned scholars to share the latest developments and trends in cutting-edge technologies such as new materials, new structures, new processes, new tools, and new equipment for automotive lightweighting at home and abroad.

② Main venue 2: Mainly invites domestic and foreign automotive companies and core component companies to share their lightweight technology routes and product development plans.

(2) Sub venue technical report (at least 10 sessions)

The technical report covers new automotive steel, advanced composite materials, high-performance lightweight alloys, new architecture and integrated design, integrated forming (molding) process, heterogeneous material connection process, forming process and equipment, key performance testing and evaluation technology, battery housing, commercial vehicle chassis and other fields.

(3) Enterprise Special Session (3 sessions)

According to the unified agenda and requirements set by the conference, we accept the commission of enterprises in the field of automotive lightweighting to set up enterprise special sessions for domestic and foreign related enterprises with technological advantages.

(4) International Special Session (at least 1 session)

Relying on experts such as the Lightweight Alliance Expert Committee and the Sino German (European) Working Committee, we have extensively invited international experts from the United States, Germany (Europe), Japan, and other countries to establish an international special session on automotive lightweighting.

（2） Product exhibition display (at least 200 companies)

The conference will organize more than 200 vehicle companies, component and material companies to participate, with exhibits covering areas such as lightweight vehicles, materials and key components, advanced connectivity products, software systems, etc. (see Annex 1 for details), with an exhibition area of approximately 10000 square meters.

（3） New Technology/New Product Launch Conference (5 sessions)

The conference adopts an innovative mode of "press conference+technical report+product display", organizing 5 new technology and product press conferences to provide a platform for domestic and foreign enterprises, research institutions and other units to launch, showcase and exhibit new technologies and products.

Inviting 8-10 academicians and over 800 industry experts from China, Germany, Japan, Russia and other countries to release and share the latest research results on cutting-edge and hot technologies such as 2GPa hot formed steel, low-cost carbon fiber composite materials, advanced connection technology, and lightweight design.

4. Full coverage of technology and competition on the same stage

The conference will organize authoritative reports and special discussions on technical hotspots and difficulties such as new architecture design, integrated forming, and delayed fracture. At the same time, various forms of evaluations such as the "China Lightweight Vehicle Conference Model Selection", "Automotive Lightweight Design Competition", and "Automotive Lightweight Application Technology Innovation Achievement Selection" will be organized to discover benchmark innovative products and achievements.
