In 2022, the trade volume between the two countries reached 9 billion US dollars for the first time. In the first quarter of this year, China became Uzbekistan's main trading partner, with a total trade volume of 2.3 billion US dollars. The total investment amount paid by China from 2017 to 2022 was about 11 billion US dollars, of which 2.2 billion US dollars were paid in 2022 alone.
