1、 Exhibition Background

With the release of the "1269" Action Plan for Jiangxi Province, "Jiangxi must become strong and its industry must become strong", requiring efforts to build a modern industrial system that reflects Jiangxi's characteristics and advantages. The important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping have provided fundamental guidance and injected strong impetus for us to accelerate the promotion of new industrialization, build a strong manufacturing province, and construct a modern industrial system. The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has thoroughly studied and implemented the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Jiangxi and the important discourse on new industrialization, anchored the strategy of building a strong industrial province, adhered to the development of reform and innovation, grasped industry, actively cultivated new quality productive forces, and jointly promoted Jiangxi to enter the ranks of emerging industrial provinces, entering the middle and late stages of industrialization. The new industrialization in the province has presented a new atmosphere.

Nanchang is an important central city in the central region of China. The province's industry has maintained stable and rapid growth, with the total industrial added value increasing from 588.92 billion yuan in 2012 to 1118.07 billion yuan in 2023, achieving doubled development and entering the national industrial "trillion yuan club". The added value of manufacturing industry accounts for about 33% of the province's gross domestic product, ranking among the top in the country. The operating income of industrial enterprises above designated size has jumped to 3 trillion yuan and 4 trillion yuan in 2014 and 2021 respectively, reaching 409.22 billion yuan in 2023, ranking 12th in the country in total and 7th in growth rate; The total profit will reach 206.8 billion yuan in 2023, ranking 13th in the country.
