Welcome to the 2025 China International Nuclear Fusion and Energy Industry Conference and Expo, also known as Fusion China 2025. The conference will be jointly organized by Shanghai Ice Orange Exhibition Co., Ltd. and authoritative institutions in the nuclear energy industry. It will be held from July 16th to 18th, 2025 at the Shanghai Automotive Convention and Exhibition Center, and hosted by Shanghai Ice Orange Exhibition Co., Ltd. The total scale of this exhibition is expected to exceed 25000 square meters, with more than 300 exhibitors and over 30000 professional visitors.

The "14th Five Year Plan for Modern Energy System" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration in 2022 emphasizes support for the research and development of controllable nuclear fusion as one of the important directions for the development of the energy system.

According to Coherent Market Insights and SkyQuest, the global nuclear fusion market is expected to reach approximately $331.26 billion by 2024 and $491.55 billion by 2031, with a compound annual growth rate of 5.8% from 2024 to 2031. As of the end of 2023, there are 43 commercial nuclear fusion companies worldwide, which have received over $6.2 billion in financing.

Since 2023, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council has launched the Future Industry Launch Action, clarifying that the controllable nuclear fusion field is the only direction for future energy. The State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) has listed controllable nuclear fusion as an important direction for future energy, promoting central enterprises to increase their efforts in building original technology source areas, and deeply implementing action plans such as "strengthening applied basic research". The goal is to achieve a 35% proportion of strategic emerging industries in central enterprises by 2025, emphasizing early deployment in areas such as brain like intelligence, quantum information technology, and controllable nuclear fusion. The country continues to deploy and implement a number of major scientific and technological projects related to nuclear fusion, actively promoting the research and development of nuclear fusion technology.
