In order to deeply learn from the lessons of major urban gas safety accidents in recent years, comprehensively strengthen the investigation and treatment of urban gas safety risks and hidden dangers, and effectively ensure the safety of people's lives and property, the State Council Safety Committee formulated the "Comprehensive Urban Gas Safety Special Rectification Work Plan" in 2023, which clarifies, decomposes, and implements the relevant responsibilities for safety production throughout the entire chain of gas safety "one thing". Adhere to innovation leadership, empower technology, strengthen the application of new generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence in gas management, and establish a comprehensive gas safety model. Comprehensively rectify and rectify "problematic bottles", "problematic valves", "problematic hoses", and "problematic pipelines", establish a long-term mechanism for urban gas safety, and further strengthen the construction of gas infrastructure. In 2024, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development will increase financial support for upgrading and updating gas pipelines, gas safety, and gas meters in accordance with the Implementation Plan for Promoting the Renewal of Building and Municipal Infrastructure Equipment. The implementation of relevant policies will provide a huge market demand for gas technology equipment. The Guangdong Gas Association will hold the "Guangdong International Gas Technology and Equipment Exhibition" at the Guangzhou Canton Fair Exhibition Hall from June 16 to 18, 2025.
