Shanghai International Sealing New Materials Exhibition is one of the main activities of China International Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "China International Industry Expo"). It is a top event of China International Sealing New Materials Industry, co sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, co sponsored by the China Machinery Industry Federation, and undertaken by Shanghai Donghao International Service Trade (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and Shanghai Verdi Exhibition Co., Ltd. Since its establishment in 1999, the China International Fair for Industry and Technology has undergone 24 years of development and innovation. Through market-oriented, specialized, international, and branded operations, it has developed into the most influential international industrial brand exhibition in China's equipment manufacturing industry, certified by the International Federation of Exhibitions (UFI). It is an important window for China's industrial sector to face the world and a platform for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation.

The establishment of a special topic on sealing new materials at the "Industry Expo" is aimed at implementing the "13th Five Year Plan" for the development of strategic emerging industries, targeting the latest technologies in international industrial materials, applying sealing new material technology to enhance the innovation and application level of industrial manufacturing technology, and jointly promoting the sustainable and healthy development of China's industrial new material industry. Established in 1999, after 24 sessions of accumulation, it will welcome its 25th edition at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), which is a world-renowned new material brand exhibition.
