With the support of the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, Chengdu Ecological Environment Bureau, and Chengdu Expo Bureau, the Asian flagship environmental protection exhibition "China Environmental Expo" settled in Chengdu in 2019, attracting high-quality industry resources accumulated by the environmental expo brand to enter the western market. It has now become a large-scale and high-quality flagship environmental protection event in Chengdu and even the western region.

The 2024 Chengdu International Ecological and Environmental Protection Expo (IE expo Chengdu) was successfully concluded on June 26th at the Western China International Expo City. The exhibition brought together 401 well-known enterprises from 11 countries to showcase advanced solutions for municipal, industrial, and rural water, solid waste, air, and soil pollution control in a 30000 square meter exhibition space. The three-day exhibition attracted 30000 professional visitors from home and abroad.

The 2024 China Environmental Industry Summit Forum was also held at the same time as the exhibition. The two major environmental protection industry events attracted central and state-owned enterprises, as well as listed environmental protection companies such as Veolia, Suez, Chuanfa Environment, Fresh Environment, Weili, Meifute, and China Construction Environment, to visit Chengdu and discuss the environmental protection industry, helping to promote the new development of environmental protection in the western region. The concurrent forums of the exhibition were equally exciting, with 14 sub forums covering the entire industry chain of environmental governance, including village and town water treatment, industrial water treatment, black and odorous water bodies, livestock and poultry waste, VOCs treatment, waste resource utilization and disposal, polluted site restoration, ecological environment monitoring, etc., in three days. Experts gather to face industry challenges and explore future development trends. The attendees responded enthusiastically, and the forum was bustling with activity!
