The Global Licensing Exhibition is a well-known exhibition in the global licensing industry, successfully held in multiple locations including Licensing Expo Las Vegas in the United States, Licensing Expo Shanghai in China, and Brand Licensing Europe in London, United Kingdom. Informa Markets is also the publisher of License Global, an influential publication in the authorized industry.
With the steady development of China's licensing market in recent years, the Global Licensing Exhibition Shanghai Station (LEC) has successfully held six sessions since its first session in 2017. The scale has also been continuously upgraded from the initial 10463 square meters, and the exhibition area authorized by LEC in 2023 has reached 35000 square meters (Hall 2.1&NH Hall). This year, the 7th Global Licensing Exhibition Shanghai Station (LEC) has expanded for the first time to two exhibition halls (Hall 1.1&Hall 2.1), with an expected exhibition area of 48000 square meters, gathering more than 400 exhibitors and 1800+IPs, including categories such as anime characters, film and television/broadcasting, online literature, games/entertainment, sports/e-sports, cultural and artistic exhibitions, trends/fashion, publishing, corporate brands, online videos, character roles, celebrities, music, non-profit organizations, higher education institutions, etc.
