In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on the work of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, promote rural revitalization, and strengthen the construction of agricultural brands, the 8th Shanghai International Agricultural Products Expo (referred to as Shanghai Agricultural Products Expo) will be held in Shanghai from April 28 to 30, 2025. The theme of this Shanghai Agricultural Products Exhibition is "Brand Strong Agriculture, High Quality and High Price". It aims to build a professional, market-oriented, and branded agricultural product production and sales docking platform, promote the entry of high-quality agricultural products into Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, and reach the whole country, increase the supply of green and high-quality agricultural products, accelerate the construction of agricultural brands, achieve high-quality and high price of agricultural products, broaden the channels for farmers to increase income and become prosperous, promote the high-quality development of rural industries, and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.

The last Shanghai Agricultural Products Exhibition attracted over 500 branded enterprises from more than 10 provinces (municipalities directly under the central government) to participate, with more than 40000 visitors.
