SIAL stands for Salon International De L'Alimentation in French, which means International Food Exhibition in Chinese. "Xiya" is the Chinese transliteration of SIAL. SIAL, as a self owned brand of the French Gaomei Aibo Exhibition Group, was founded in Paris, France in 1964.
