In order to actively respond to the guiding opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the National Standardization Development Outline, and the Guiding Opinions of the six ministries and commissions on vigorously implementing the action of renewable energy substitution, and to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industrial energy use, as well as the digitalization, intelligence, and greening process of Xinjiang's industry, the Xinjiang Industrial Carbon Peaking and Energy Equipment Technology Expo and the Xinjiang New Energy, New Materials, and Related Industries Expo will be held in Urumqi from October 30 to November 1, 2025, and various industry conferences such as industrial carbon peaking, digital factories, energy conservation and emission reduction will be held at the same time.

The organizing committee will invite units from the National Development and Reform Commission and the Industry and Information Technology Bureau from various prefectures and corps in Xinjiang; Energy Group; power company; High energy consuming enterprises such as steel, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, building materials, textiles, and papermaking; Major industrial parks; Distributors and agents will visit and purchase relevant technology and equipment.

At the same time as the Expo, a main forum and multiple sub forums will be held to promote the low-carbon and green transformation of Xinjiang's industry, promote deep cooperation among government, military, enterprises, and research, and provide assistance for the development of Xinjiang's industrial carbon peak industry.

The Expo will also fully leverage the advantages of the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone, inviting relevant departments, industry organizations, energy companies, distributors, and others from neighboring countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan to attend the event, in order to promote China's equipment enterprises in various industries to go abroad and enter Central Asia, West Asia, and even Europe.
