Exhibition Introduction

The China International Exhibition on New Energy Storage Technology, Equipment and Applications (GESA) is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Bureau. It aims to promote the high-quality development of the "new energy storage" industry, help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality. GESA is the "Canton Fair" of China's new energy storage industry.

With carbon peaking and carbon neutrality becoming a global consensus, achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality is a major strategic decision made by the country after careful consideration. In the 2024 government work report, it was proposed to develop new energy storage, which was included in the government work report for the first time. New energy storage, as a key technology supporting new energy to play the role of the main power source, is an important guarantee for achieving safe and stable operation of the power system.

Recently, the National Energy Administration issued a notice on promoting the integration and scheduling of new energy storage into the grid. The Notice standardizes the management of new energy storage grid connection and optimizes the scheduling and operation mechanism, which helps to fully leverage the role of new energy storage and support the construction of new power systems. Under the new situation, the National Energy Administration adheres to a problem oriented approach, refines policy measures, and formulates and issues a notice aimed at standardizing the grid connection of new energy storage, promoting efficient scheduling and utilization of new energy storage, promoting high-quality development of the new energy storage industry, and providing strong support for the construction of new power systems and new energy systems. China proposes to build a new generation of power system with new energy as the main body. New energy storage, as a key technology to support the main power source of new energy, will experience explosive growth. The national and provincial-level energy regulatory authorities have intensively introduced a series of favorable policies for new energy storage, and large-scale high-quality new energy storage projects have been launched both domestically and internationally, promoting the commercialization and industrialization mechanism of high-quality new energy storage products and technologies, and assisting the development of national strategic industries.

In this new situation, the National Energy Administration adheres to a problem oriented approach, refines policy measures, and guides the high-quality development of new energy storage. The High tech Fair has decided to organize the International Conference and Exhibition on New Energy Storage Technologies, Equipment and Applications (GESA) to promote the development of high-quality industries for new energy storage and help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
